A was at the club on base and there were 6 people "Watching" the Monday nfl. Talking to Miss Thihn (the bartender), she said that Sunday nfl viewer ship has tanked. Only a hand full of people there and some jackass got pissed when he was told that he had to pay foe breakfast ($3.00, all that you can eat). Said jackass threw his plate back into the food pans, so that the club had to dump the food. Technically, they Did go through all of their food (because they had to destroy it).
Than I went to Dixie Grill and there only 6 people there to watch the game. Talking to the manager, he said the Sunday and Monday football viewership has nosedives.
In both places, people were playing with their phone more than watching T.V.
It would surprise if both venues cancel their nfl ticket on cable/satellite due to declining patrons.
Establishments get charged on their rated capacity, not the number of patrons (max occupancy: 200, actual customers: 5). The math doesn't work out for the bars/businesses.
