One of the tricks I learned when I’m trying to calibrate various components on a submarine is to slowly approach the desired reading without overshooting.  If you overshoot, bleed/vent down a few pounds and start over.

Translated to reloading, I set my powder dispensers a few 1/10s under the desired load and slowly trickle up until the digital scale (0.1 grain resolution) just indicates the desired load.  If I trickle too much, I remove some powder and do it again.  I get very consistent loads (<20 fps and typically around <15 or less deviation).
