Learn the signs of a mini stroke...

My father suffered a nib stroke this morning, and the initial symptoms were confusion.  My step mom (Bar) woke me up and we were getting ready to take him into Bend to the ER. I went out and was warming up my rental car (it gets cold here in Crescent) when he went into a seizure.  Barb yelled for me, and when I came into the house, we called 911.

The Volunteer Fire Department in Crescent responded in minutes of the phone call (as they ARE across the street.  One of the ladies that works there knows dad and recognized an immediate life threatening problem and called for the life flight.

Bottom line, he's at the hospital and doing fine.  Bitching and being stubborn.  He called once to tell us to come and get him (trying to check himself out) and the standard BS for someone as stubborn as he is (I think it runs in the family).

Dad owes a shit ton of smoke ribs to the VFD!!!  When we pick him up  tomorrow, I'm also buy some ribs to feed the troops!!!

But this post is not about him, it's about the Psycho Bitch™ in the ER.  PB was going off on the charge nurse, numerous staff and doctors.  Security was there and the older gentleman was trying to resolve the situation (and failing).  I saw what was happening and stood up and pretty much protected the waiting room.  When the security guard  saw this, I think he relaxed a lot knowing that his back was covered.

PB was tweaking on something and kept accusing the doctors of being on drugs.  PB went full psycho and started threading the staff, refusing to leave and tried going deeper into the hospital all the time yelling that she was a registered nurse (probably fired) and generally just being a crazy bitch.

The staff were trying to get her into a consult room and she started to get a little violent when the staff basically bun rushed her in to the consult room while security called for police.  Overall the drama lasted for about 5 minutes.

As the charge nurse was escorting us (Heh!) past the consult room, she remarked that she was surprised that a "Code (left blank to protect the hospitals security)" wasn't called.

I might have had something to do about that, but you can't buy a ticket to a better show than Human Drama, whether at the court house, the hospital or even at the DMV!
